CMAS Freshwater biology course
Place: Pikkala pond and Siuntion venekerhon clubhouse (Kotilahden satama, 02570 Siuntio)
Aim of the course: The course should introduce divers to the freshwater life. Therefore, the course includes lectures, dives but also plenty of time to identify species observed during the dives. Creating knowledge on different species, their importance to the ecosystem and different processes in the ecosystem should help to raise awareness for freshwater ecosystems and to promote sustainable diving.

Costs: 150€
Participants need to bring their own diving equipment as well as enough breathing gas for 3 dives (each around 45 min and max 6-7 m deep). Accommodation is not provided and not available at the location. Please, bring enough food and drinks for the duration of the course. A barbecue will be available for use.
After successful completion of the course, the participant will receive the CMAS Freshwater Biology certificate.
