By Jean Pierre IMBERT Desaturation specialist, deep diving expert, designer of the MT92 tables used by professional divers in France, former COMEX engineer, former president of IANTD France, CMAS*** instructor, specialist in Heliox, Trimix, and rebreathers. Jean Pierre is an engineer, a graduate of the Institute for Environmental Medicine in Philadelphia, where he studied under Dr. C.J. Lambertsen. He participated in the Hydra experiments (world record for diving in a chamber at -701 m). He established desaturation protocols for saturation diving on oil platforms. His presentation will demystify the latest knowledge on desaturation, from the formation of bubbles to hydrophobic plates and the role of free radicals.
