Invitation to the Finnish Open Championship in Finswimming

The competition Pool
Tampere Swimmingcenter, address Joukahaisenkatu 7.
Pool 50 meters, 8 lanes, depth 1,2 - 4,2 m, water 27 degrees, electronic scoreboard.
Participation
Eligible to participate in Finnish Open Championship are only club teams. Every club team should enter not more than four (4) competitors for each individual event and not more than one (1) team in each relay event.
Each club team should comply with the rules of Championship, the safety conditions set by the Organizers and the CMAS Rules and Regulations.
Competition categories
A categories - men and women born in 1992 and earlier
B categories - boys and girls born in 1993 - 94
C categories - boys and girls born in 1995 - 96
D categories - boys and girls born in 1997 and after

Surface 50m, 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m
Apnea 50m
Immersion 100m
Relay 4x50m mixed, 4x100m
Bifins 50m, 100m
Rules
CMAS international 2008 rules concerning finswimming.
Cylinder (bottle) filling
The organizer guarantees the filling of cylinders (bottles) for either DIN, YOKE or Russian type. The maximum charging pressure is 200 Bars. All cylinder (bottles) must be in good condition and must have passed an hydraulic test less than 24 month before the date of the championship.
Needed documents for verification
Personal identification card or passport.
Prices
The three best swimmers in each event get a medal.
Fees
Starting fees: 9 euros/start in categories A, B and C, 8 euros/start in category D. Relay 18 euros/start/team. Starting fees must be paid at the latest 12th of February 2010 to the account of Finnish Divers´ Federation.

Protests
Protests must be presented in written form within 60 minutes after the results are declared. Fee is 60 euros.

Lunch after the competition
On Sunday after the competition there will be a lunch for all participating teams at a cost of 7,50 euros per person. Reservations must be included in the final entry form (see below).
